|---|---|
| File size | 5 KB to 100 KB |
| Face size | 70-80% of the photo - framed close, face and top of shoulders |

Checked against the official sources below on 7 Nov 2026.
At 200 x 200 px the file can land under the 5 KB minimum. This tool saves at the highest genuine quality and never pads; if the minimum is still not reached it tells you to use a sharper original.
How to do it
- Take a close photo against a white wall - face and top of shoulders.
- Upload it below and frame the face to fill most of the square.
- Create the file, confirm the checks, download and upload it to your eVisa application.
Common questions
Why is there a minimum size of 5 KB?
A tiny file at 200 px usually means an over-compressed or blank image. The portal rejects both extremes, so the tool keeps the file inside 5-100 KB.
