Countries differ on details - background shade, smile rules, whether you may submit your own photo at all. In Sweden, for example, the police take the passport photo at the appointment and you cannot bring your own; a self-made 35 x 45 mm photo is instead used for driving licence renewals and visas. Check your country's page before printing.
How to do it
- Take a photo facing the camera against a plain light wall.
- Upload it below and frame the head between the guide lines (70-80% of height).
- Create the file, download, and print at exactly 35 x 45 mm.
